The Ethiopian Sports Federation in North America (ESFNA) is teaming up with LA-based arts blog Habesha LA and Cushline Media Group to host the first ever Habesha Happy Hour at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Santa Clara.
Hosted by respective groups Habesha LA and Cushline Media Group, the Habesha Happy Hour aims to serve as a networking mixer for creatives and entertainment professionals to meet and mingle. This is the first ever event of its kind at the 31st Annual Soccer Tournament and will be held at the primary hotel of the tournament the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara.
The Habesha Happy Hour is going to be held by the pool area from 6pm-9pm with a DJ and open bar. The exclusive event has a guest capacity and attendees are encouraged to make reservations online. The Habesha Happy Hour also aims to cater to the underserved Gen Y population at the Soccer Tournament to network and socialize.
Habesha LA is a curated blog to feature creative talent in the Habesha community. Set to launch in August 2014, Habesha LA aims to celebrate and promote the overlooked accomplishments of creative and innovate talent of our community around the world. Furthermore, Habesha LA will be a platform as a way of networking and connecting to other Ethiopian and Eritrean talent through their blog as well as networking events.
